The 9260 furnace provides fixed point calibrations in a timely manner. It works with indium tin, zinc, and aluminium cells to cover all ITS-90 fixed points from 156.5985°C to 660.323°C. Simply leaving the cell in the furnace overnight, initialising the software for the specific cell, and verifying the stability of the cell, will enable you to take accurate measurements for the rest of the day.
The built-in software allows the choice between using melting-point curves or freezing-point curves for each metal.
