The 9118A is a horizontal, open-ended tube furnace with a temperature range of 300°C to 1200°C. The furnace can be operated with or without an isothermal block. The configuration can be quickly changed by selecting calibration parameters stored in the controller. It also features automated setpoint control for up to 8 setpoint temperatures, deep immersion depth of 365mm, and non-metallic (ceramic alumina) isothermal block to minimize the risk of contamination.
It is used for comparison calibration of noble and base-metal thermocouples by secondary high-temperature labs and instrument shops in industries such as aerospace, automotive, energy, metals, and plastics.
