The 9500B Oscilloscope Calibrator provides full automation through the use of its Active Heads. Signals required to fully calibrate an oscilloscope are generated in detachable heads which are remote from the calibrator mainframe. The 9500B supports up to 5 detachable heads, and are connected to the oscilloscope input directly without the need for additional cables.
Simultaneous output on 5 channels means lead changing is avoided, and complicated signal multiplexes or impedance matching networks aren’t needed. Levelled sinewaves to 6.0 GHz and edges to 70 ps provide the performance and flexibility needed to calibrate modern oscilloscopes.
